Beijing Innovation Gateway 2025

From August 25th to 27th, GITP was invited to lead a delegation to Beijing to participate in the three-day HICOOL2023 Global Entrepreneur Summit, and witnessed a global event in the field of science and technology innovation with many audiences. Invited by Beijing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, GITP Chief Operating Officer Johnson Lee delivered a speech, and Meme, a member of the delegation, also gave a roadshow on behalf of Durio Thailand.

On October 12, organized by the Daxing Disctrict Returned Oversease Chinese Federation, GITP led a delegation of international entreprises to vissit the China-Japan Demonstration Zone and organized a business matching event for RCEP technology startups from Singapore, Indonesian and Thailand

On October 26, GITP represented Dr. Peter's project to participate in the award ceremony of the International High-level Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition hosted by Qingdao North Government. Congratulations to Dr. Peter from Singapore for his project "Synectify", which won the Qingdao International Competition for the second time after winning the Beijing SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

Over the past two days, our Gateway to Growth mission in Guangzhou’s Huangpu and Panyu districts concluded successfully. We had the opportunity to visit a leading AI incubator hosting 16 startups in AI, robotics, chipsets, and semiconductors. The innovation level and readiness for global expansion were impressive. We also explored the New Materials Industrial Park, where Malaysian tech delegates had productive discussions with Chinese startups in smart manufacturing, advanced materials, AI, robotics, and IoT. These sessions opened doors for potential collaboration and co-development in the Southeast Asian market. Throughout the mission, many Chinese companies expressed strong interest in “出海” — expanding into ASEAN — and showed willingness to localize and collaborate. Special thanks to MDEC, GICC, 华南新材料创新园, 海珠城发集团, and the Panyu and Haizhu district teams for their incredible support. Gratitude and Highlights from GITP: China-Malaysia Tech Exchange in Panyu, Guangzhou On the afternoon of June 18, the China (Guangzhou-Panyu) – Malaysia Technology Exchange & Business Matching Session was successfully held at the Tian’an Energy-Saving Technology Park Conference Centre. We at GITP (Global Innovation & Technology Platform) are truly honored to have co-organized this meaningful event, guided by the CCPIT Panyu District Committee and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), alongside our esteemed partners: the Panyu District Chamber of Commerce of China Chamber of International Commerce, Guangzhou International Exchange and Cooperation Center, Donghuan Street Chamber of Commerce, Shiqiao Private Enterprise Association, and Tian’an Tech Park. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all supporting organizations and participating companies for making this exchange both productive and inspiring. The session brought together 8 Malaysian tech companies and a dynamic group of Panyu-based enterprises across smart manufacturing, agritech, and information technology. Through precise business matchmaking and project pitching, many new synergies were formed, and several bilateral visit intentions were reached on-site. One notable highlight was the immediate follow-up meeting between Malaysian company Memis and Panyu-based ITC-Polin Electronics, which transitioned straight from the matching event to a factory visit—showcasing the genuine business potential emerging from this platform. GITP was also proud to sign an MoU with the Panyu Chamber of Commerce to jointly promote future collaboration across exhibitions, tech exchanges, and international market access. We believe this is just the beginning. With the acceleration of global tech innovation and the strengthening of China-Malaysia strategic ties, GITP remains committed to acting as a trusted cross-border bridge — enabling two-way cooperation, talent mobility, and innovation-driven partnerships across ASEAN and China. @meorsyazali @mymdec

Throwback to Our Shenzhen Tech Mission with MDEC – Gateway to Growth. Last week, Gateway to Growth business mission to Shenzhen with MDEC offered an in-depth look at China’s dynamic tech landscape and its rapid evolution across multiple sectors. We had the privilege to visit Autel Robotics (道通科技), ranked No.2 in China for drone technology. Their cutting-edge UAV innovations impressed us with their industrial applications and forward-thinking R&D. At Zhongke Future Technology Hall (中科未来科技厅), we explored an engaging showcase of fashion tech, smart gadgets, AR/XR, and next-gen lifestyle technologies — all merging creativity with intelligence. Another standout session was the AR/VR/XR association industry networking, where we connected with pioneering companies working on robotics, drones, and immersive tech. The energy and innovation in this ecosystem clearly signal the future of human–machine interaction. We also visited Yunmatong Robotics (云码通), where we explored a broad range of robotic applications for automation, logistics, and consumer use — a great example of how robotics is scaling across sectors. At Liangong Technology (链工科技), we were introduced to their massive smart manufacturing platform featuring over 200,000 SKUs, providing affordable, high-quality industrial solutions for global supply chains. A special thanks to my longtime friend Danny from ADG, who hosted us for an insightful visit to 梦工厂 (Dream Factory) — a startup and innovation hub that provides acceleration services, incubation support, and tech commercialization resources for emerging entrepreneurs. It was inspiring to see how the Dream Factory is cultivating the next wave of tech innovators in Shenzhen. We deeply appreciate all our partners, hosts, and delegates who made this journey so impactful. We look forward to strengthening the ASEAN–China innovation bridge through more collaboration ahead.
